The poet Philip Larkin once said: "They hurt you, your father and your mother, not intentionally, but they did hurt you."
In the dream, I am always running away frantically, being chased by someone whose face I can't see clearly but who feels familiar;
Or there is nowhere to go after escaping from a certain space. There is a cliff in front of you, so you can only jump off without hesitation. The feeling of weightlessness and fear cannot be dissipated for a long time after opening your eyes;
Or being alone in a huge empty place, having difficulty breathing, unable to find an exit, and feeling helpless;
Or in the air, even though there are wings, they cannot flutter, and the wings are extremely heavy. When you wake up, you will be covered in cold sweat and breathing rapidly.
Anxiety, suspicion, lack of sense of security in real life; impatience, lack of patience, prone to conflicts; indifference, feelinglessness, lack of intimacy...
An unmet need from early childhood with no memory? Or is it a regret that was not realized while growing up? Or you get too much, and the excess becomes a burden...
If you can't compensate for that emotion, will you be searching for and taking it from the people around you consciously or unconsciously throughout your life? But are looted counterfeits really useful?
Some people tear off a piece of the heart of a "passerby" while walking and compare it with their own incomplete heart. After finding that it is bigger or smaller or the shape does not fit, they throw it away. Their own heart bleeds, and so do the people passing by.
