Nineteen years of peace
A white light flashed over Baizhai, three hundred miles away from the capital. The nearby villagers believed that this was an auspicious sign, and that a lucky star was coming to China, and they searched everywhere for the place where the white light landed.
In front of the gate of Bai Zhai, a group of villagers gathered outside this dilapidated courtyard. Except for the word "Bai Zhai" on the plaque, there is no way to think that this is an environment suitable for human habitation.
The courtyard is overgrown with weeds, and the white house, which has been abandoned for many years, was left by its owner many years ago and left unattended. At first, some of the surrounding villagers tried to take the land as their own, but fled within three days of moving in. It is said that the house is full of gloomy energy and is known as a ghost house.
At this time, four people suddenly appeared in the house and looked at each other. Suddenly, a scream rang through the sky. The villagers were so frightened that they fled in a hurry, not daring to look any further. Later generations of unofficial historians also recorded this incident, and it is even said that the real name was Liaozhai.
