Preface
For those who have left their hometowns, they all experience the hardships and difficulties of life. Such a group of people are like foam in the sea, sometimes emerging from the water and sometimes being submerged by the waves. In the vast city of Beijing, the humblest social groups all have a unified title: wage earners. In a twenty-four-hour day, about ten hours are spent working, and those who are lucky still have their own lives. I am the general name of the owner, laboriously writing my own life, a book of Red Mansions and a piece of "Farewell My Concubine", seeking comfort from books and the joy of life in movies. Maybe I am born a pessimistic person, and in a blink of an eye I will burst into tears like Lin Daiyu, ending my leisurely college life in this strange city and starting a new chapter in my life.
I have been preparing to create this collection of essays for more than half a year, in order to give some encouragement to people in trouble through personal experience. Everyone will have their own life. No matter what occupation or situation, the important thing is to be full of courage and hope in life. Grounded in dust, gracefully turned around. The time I came to Beijing was fleeting, and I met many, many people, including strangers, people I met again after a long absence, and people I was destined to meet. I am grateful to these people I met in my life. They taught me to grow from a young college student to a mature social person. Although I sometimes feel lonely and helpless, I insist on not forgetting my original intention and moving forward!
