This article uses the heroine, a modern quasi-graduate student, who travels back to ancient times as a clue character, and describes the story of living hard for the happiness of herself and her predecessor in the ancient setting. It involves the grievances of the previous generations of the dynasty, the relationship between the general's palace and the emperor, and how the heroine is chosen between the emperor and the general's younger brother. Most of the storyline takes place in the palace and on the streets, a battle of wits and courage with the concubines in the harem, and a series of entanglements in the martial arts world.
