When I was a child, every time I came home from school, I would cuddle up next to my grandfather with my younger brother and listen to the little story that was told many times. In grandpa's stories, there are monsters, mountain spirits, and small animals that all speak human words like spirits. I don't feel tired after listening to them over and over again.
But childhood will eventually end. After junior high school started living on campus, I became further and further away from my grandfather. In recent years, when I went home, I told my grandfather about my childhood memories. He no longer remembered those stories, and my memory was also chaotic and difficult to organize.
I looked up all kinds of folk tales, but I couldn't find the little stories my grandpa told. I don't know if my grandpa made them up himself, or if the folk tales are still among the people and have not been included.
Now, my grandfather is already eighty years old and is seriously ill, so he may not be able to take a New Year's holiday. Therefore, Fang tried hard to record the fragments in his memory, supplemented by polishing them with clumsy pen, in order to preserve the childhood and the grandfather of those years.
I no longer remember many of the stories, only the two or three that left the deepest impression. I will record them in several strokes as a gift to my childhood.
