My favorite is the aunt who sells glutinous rice cakes at the street corner. I usually buy one after school. Every time she sees me, she always calls me by my nickname and specially picks out a big glutinous rice cake for me. I would take a few bites of it with great satisfaction, finish it quickly, and then wipe my mouth carefully before walking into the house.
This old street is full of life, trivial but warm to generations.
