The first part of Ancient Realm tells a story that is both past and future, and this clue will be fully revealed until the final battle of the third part.
Sado is a species that suddenly comes to the world. It is rooted at the foot of Xuanyuan Mountain. It is born with hatred, anger, and uneasiness. It has a strong killing nature and an energy that violates the laws of nature. This energy is powerful enough to erode the essence of living things, like a curse in the abyss. It will make living things ugly, decayed, and sad. However, their appearance is by no means accidental.
The story begins with a man named Imya. Because of some past, he was cursed by the master of Sado. He was destined to let his own son embark on a road of no return, and deliberately concealed his mother's life experience.
The protagonist Yu Yi encounters a huge change on a seemingly peaceful night. His father disappears and he is carried into the Tree Whispering Forest by the riding pet "Maverick" who has been with him since childhood, far away from home.
Along the way, he encountered many strange species, and met Karadubi, a member of the Xuanyuan clan with a very strange appearance and figure that his father often mentioned. In the following twelve years, which is equivalent to twelve years of life, Karadubi followed the origin of Qi Yi's birth, taught him the secrets of swordsmanship and atmosphere, and guided Qi Yi's unique and powerful talent. He also told him that he must return to the Nameless City, find his father, and join hands to stop Sado's atrocities.
