I have always wanted to write a heart-warming youth novel, but when I actually picked up the pen, I realized that there was still a long way to go before I could put my imagination into action. My ideas were too messy, my writing was poor, and I had basically no writing experience. In the end, I only managed to write 20,000 words after going back and forth.
The characters are far less fleshed out than I imagined, and the storyline is too simple. What I was thinking in my mind and what was written on the paper turned out to be two different things.
But it's always finished.
I have always felt that the most suitable love is the kind of plain love. A love that is too strong can easily burn people. In the stories I like, I hope there aren't so many misunderstandings and misses, and they don't need to be dramatic, as long as they are light and ordinary.
I always hope that there will be that person who will accompany you silently without asking too much or giving too much. He just happens to be right behind you when you need him.
In youth movies, there is no need to go abroad, no abortion, no separation, no glittering heroes, just the ordinary happiness around you, that's enough.
That beautiful boy waiting by my side, where are you?
