Nana woke up on a sultry afternoon.
The sunshine is just right, and the spider plants by the window are growing beautifully.
Nana stretched out her hand, broke off a green bud, and inserted it into the moist soil in the basin. She remembered someone saying that spider plants are easy to grow. As long as there is soil and water, they can take root and sprout and be reborn in one day.
She got out of bed as usual, got dressed, washed her hands and ate snacks. Only this time, she took five minutes longer to wash her hands than the other day.
Her life ended long before she woke up.
