I, Su Xing, am the son of a farmer. Due to his excellent academic performance, he entered Kyoto University. After graduation, despite the opposition of his family and friends, he bid farewell to the warm life in the bustling city and chose the arduous road of entrepreneurship to return to his hometown. A simple, honest and frail scholar entered the officialdom and found it difficult to gain a foothold. In order to change the face of poverty in my hometown, I worked hard day and night. Corrupt officials were constantly launching attacks, both overt and covert, and I was unable to defend myself. I rose to the top and fell to the bottom, struggling on the verge of death many times. I learned lessons from my failures and gradually gained a foothold in the officialdom, and finally changed from passive to active and took control of real power. In the process of rectification and reform of the cadre team, corrupt and mediocre cadres have been dismissed one after another, and outstanding talents with both ability and political integrity have been enriched into the party and government leadership teams. However, during the reform, I touched the vested interests of the upper-level leaders. The corrupt officials hated me so much that they tried every possible means to frame me, frame me, pursue me, assassinate me and put me to death. In desperation, I fled my hometown and lived in seclusion in a mountainous area thousands of miles away to avoid the right and wrong of officialdom.
I am an honest official and have no money, so I can only leave "my rough life" to future generations. Although this life experience cannot be regarded as an empirical guide to becoming an official, I am very pleased that young people who want to become officials can learn from it and avoid detours.
