On the other hand, the three demons have all lived for hundreds of years. What does Tang Monk look like in their eyes? He is a smelly monk who is ignorant of worldly affairs, talks the most truths, and is the weakest in skills. He is a little smart and has a bad temper. He is kind at heart but also a little confused.
Could it be that the Bodhisattva asked them to go through eighty-one difficulties just to subjugate demons and benefit the people along the way?
Since demons and ghosts cannot stop these three monsters, why does the Bodhisattva have to do it multiple times?
The purpose of the nine-nine-eighty-one difficulties is not so much to overcome the difficulties, but to allow them to bump into each other when going through the difficulties, so that they can go all the way to the west after bumping into each other. The three demons and Tang Monk are each other's path to practice, and they are each other's eighty-one difficulties.
