In the evening, the Nanshan Ancient Temple is bathed in the faint golden glow of the setting sun, making this ancient temple with a history of hundreds of years even more solemn and grand. In the ancient temple, the tourists gradually disappeared, leaving only a few people except the novice monks.
The huge incense burner in front of the main hall is filled with incense candles from believers, and curls of incense are growing around the beams, gradually becoming thinner and thicker, just like a white incense stick lingering for a long time.
In the main hall, a young man was kneeling on the worship mat, looking at the mural above his head as if he was possessed by a demon. In the mural, Yaksha spiritual animals are surrounding the Bodhisattva. Some are holding swords, some are angry, some are swallowing clouds and spitting fire, and some are looking back. Only Avalokitesvara stands on the lotus, holds the flower and lowers his eyes, with a smile on his lips, as if he can see through the suffering of all living beings in the world, with indescribable compassion.
The young man raised his eyebrows slightly, clasped his hands together, and prayed to the Third Buddha in the hall:
If there is an afterlife, I hope it will be different from this life, give up the greed in this life, and forget the attachments in this life.
If there is an afterlife, I hope that I will not owe anyone, and that people will not owe me anything, and that we will be clean and have nothing to do with each other.
If there is an afterlife, may I be simple and happy.
If there is an afterlife, I hope I can be treated with gentleness...
After putting the sandalwood in his hand into the incense burner, the man bowed gently three times and left without looking back. After he left, a wisp of breeze blew into the hall, prayer flags fluttered, and fragrant mist curled up. There seemed to be the sound of Sanskrit music singing and praying faintly coming from a distance...
Great ending! Sprinkle flowers~
