There are eight sufferings in life: birth, old age, illness, death, separation from love, long-lasting resentment, not being able to get what you want, and not being able to let go.
Yuan Ji has experienced everything. Of course, death is the death of others. After living for more than eighty years, Yuanji has always had someone in his heart. He dare not say it or tell anyone because he is a monk. He cannot betray the Buddha, but he will not let go, even though the person in his heart has already married. On the one hand, his belief in Buddha, and on the other hand, his admiration for the person in his heart, which made Yuan Ji suffer in his heart for decades. It was not until the moment before his death that he finally woke up and truly let go.
