The Buddha said that there are eight sufferings in life: birth, old age, illness, death, separation from love, long-term resentment, not being able to get what you want, and not being able to let go. From the first moment I saw her, I knew I was bound to be in pain. But I am willing to drink this cup of bitter wine.
