Mr. Xie is an old friend of his father, more than twenty years older than his father. He studied in a private school and studied abroad. During the May 4th New Democratic Revolution, he joined the Kuomintang. During the Manchukuo period, he was appointed by the Wang puppet regime as the director of the police department. During his tenure, he actively rescued the Communist Party in the area under his jurisdiction. After the end of the Anti-Japanese War, Mr. Xie was sent to the countryside. During the Revolution, he withdrew from the Kuomintang. He has no children and spends his old age peacefully in the decentralized rural areas. The government treats the elderly with preferential treatment and care, and the villagers also respect him.
