There was a very loving couple who had been married for many years but had no children until they picked up an abandoned baby.
The next day a mysterious monk appeared in the courtyard of his home.
"Do you still want your own child?" The monk opened his palm, revealing a transparent diaphragm that looked like a piece of human fingernail.
"Feed it to the baby you picked up yesterday, and next year you will have your own child."
"What will happen to the abandoned baby?"
"The fate of that child and your child will be connected. Your child's growth will gradually consume the body of the found child. When your child grows up, the abandoned baby will gradually lose its senses and limbs. Therefore, you must not be kind to the found child, otherwise, your kindness to him will be punished on your own child."
"What the hell is this!"
The monk said: "You were originally destined to have no children, so you borrowed that child's life to give your child a life."
"This is called the Life-Continuing Curse." The monk pointed at the diaphragm and floated away.
