Lucifer once saw the future in the second era. He saw himself falling to heaven and being killed...
Lucifer didn't want to sit still and wait for death, so he rebelled in heaven and failed.
After squatting in hell for who knows how many years, Lucifer felt that it was no longer possible to continue like this, so he led a group of men to capture heaven.

The background setting is probably similar to that in "Strategy Diary", except that this time Lucifer does not have the assistance of the system baby, ahem, he is trying to die in a fancy way.
