The novel successfully portrays the different tragic fates encountered by different characters, different personalities, and the same environment in the story. It almost realistically depicts the arbitrary actions of contemporary campuses under the erosion of capital and power. It reflects campus violence from different aspects and is the epitome of campus tragedies that are constantly repeated. The main character Haodong's straightforwardness and heroism, An Xiao's bohemianness, Lulu's tenderness, Fluke's infatuated sentimentality, Hu Yue's arrogance, and the joys and sorrows of Wu Nai and Ling Zhi who eventually became orphans will all be closely linked to their different life experiences. The continuous violence on campus eventually turned An Xiao into a vegetative state, while Hu Yue forever turned into Wolong's wronged soul; Xie Huiran's painful leap tore apart people's cry for the psychological quality education of middle school students... All of this, is it destiny or the injustice of fate? As the novel story continues to be interpreted, I think we can finally find the answer...
