This article is adapted from the life chronicle of Yu Xuanji, a historical figure in the late Tang Dynasty. It mainly tells the love and hatred between Yu Xuanji and the poet Wen Tingyun of the "Huajian School", Li Yi, the number one scholar in the late Tang Dynasty, and the maid Lu Qiao.
