As a die-hard fan of the Assassin series, I wanted to write an Assassin story seven or eight years ago. But since the protagonists of this series are basically male assassins, it was really difficult for me to start.
In 2015, there was finally a female assassin with a Chinese background, and I started to get restless.
The story takes place in the Ming Dynasty in the 16th century. In April 1521, Zhengde died, and the court was in chaos. Officials were constantly fighting over who should be the next emperor. At this time, the assassin organization contacted Shao Yun, who was a concubine in the palace, and sneaked into the palace to rescue her. Shao Jun was very loyal to the organization that rescued him. In the next few years, he continued to train and study, and went to Italy before deciding to return to his hometown to carry out a revenge mission.

Although the inspiration comes from AC, due to the passage of time, I have forgotten the plot of the game, so I can't say it is completely different.
I can only pick out a few characters from it, but the focus and overall structure of the story I wrote are completely different from the original game.
The focus of the original work is Shao Yun and her revenge. My focus is Shao Yun and her soul mate, interspersed with swords, blood and shadows...
So to say it is a derivative, I feel very guilty.
