When the war ended, there were not many able-bodied men left in the film, and all of them died on the battlefield. Some died namelessly and without status, shot to death by Japanese bullets or blown up by bombs, and they all lay there ferociously. Some bodies were even torn apart by shells, and perhaps the limbs and bodies could not be together.
