It was the third year of Guangqing's reign, when the late emperor passed away. His favorite concubine, Rong, hanged herself in Guanju Palace and was later buried in Yuling. His son, Wang Xuanhua of Ruiyang, was raised by Queen Zhen and became emperor, with the reign name Yongde.
