The poinsettia is a flower that looks bright and beautiful but is actually poisonous. There are two main lines in the novel, one is the conflict between the three community brothers Tang Zicheng, Gao Gao and Song Depei. Two stories about the conflicts between France's first magician Gula, Britain's first magician Tedin, the Christian Pope and the cult Imorena and the Lion-Faced Man in the magical world. These two lines are intertwined and implemented throughout the text, aiming to be orderly, integrating and advancing each other.
