Li Zhi of the Ming Dynasty wrote in "Comments on the Four Books: The Analects of Confucius 5": "I see that all the sages are eager to save the world, and it is not Zigong who asks for it but Confucius who is waiting for it." Lu Xun's "Zhun Feng Yue Tan·Pukong": "And this Yan's method of saving the world actually touched the heart of Mr. Shi, and recommended it to young people as a 'moral cultivation'."
