There is a not-so-vast continent beside the vast sea, with a large river called the Moon River running through it and flowing into the sea. On both sides of the Moon River are towering mountains, dense forests, green plains, and colorful seas of flowers. People work along the river and rest at sunset: they cultivate the land with cattle, forge iron with their hands, and do business with boats; they believe that they come from the sea, believe in the goddess of the sea, and call them their ancestors; they build cities, create dynasties, launch wars, and cherish peace... Among them, there is a little girl selling dried fruits. As she grows up, she seems to be ordinary, but she has a pair of eyes that can see through the past of everything in the world, except herself: she is an orphan and does not know where she comes from.
