A floating continent, as its name suggests, is a piece of land floating on the vast ocean and constantly moving, like a lonely boat sailing in the sea.
This feature makes the Floating Continent completely isolated from the world. There are zero records of outsiders appearing or docking foreign ships in its thousands of years of history. The reason is simple - every 72 hours, the Floating Continent completely leaves its original position, and this piece of land cannot be marked on nautical charts.
Here, sailing out to sea is regarded as the most dangerous "cursed thing" - if they fail to return to land within 72 hours after departure, only aimless wandering and death await them.
... Until one day, a ship docked.
