The ancient Dian Kingdom was a large ethnic group in Yunnan more than 2,000 years ago. The Dian Kingdom has fertile land and a mild climate, which is suitable for human habitation. It is also isolated from the Central Plains due to high mountains and ridges, so it has nurtured a unique Dian culture. The Dian people are rarely bound by the traditional etiquette of the Central Plains, which is reflected in the bronze culture.
Competing with them were the Kunming people, who were famous for their bravery and prowess in warfare (the name Kunming in Yunnan later came from this)
The story begins with the struggle between two tribes. One is Kunli Wuma, a princess of the Kunming tribe who became a slave of the Dian people, and the other is the king of Dian, Hanye. A county called Jiangchuan near Fuxian Lake once preserved a book called "Chengjiang Prefecture Chronicles", which recorded a mysterious text: "In Fuxian Lake, there is something like a horse, with a white body and red spots on its back. It is about ten feet long. It swims out of the water as fast as flying. Anyone who sees it often receives good luck." Corpses that have not decayed for many years, magical horses galloping on the water, weird and changing water monsters, mysteriously disappeared capitals, mysterious lake mirages...
A lingering and pathos love witnessed the glory and disappearance of a magnificent dynasty - the ancient Dian Kingdom.
