I would like to dedicate this article to my friend Sunil. MaLLa to commemorate those youthful years when I vowed to be silent.
One day in June 2005, a libertine who was collectively punished by his whole family for coming out as gay fled from the Shanghai Bund, where singing and dancing flourished, to the smoke-filled war zone in Nepal. After experiencing the thrills and tribulations that I had never experienced in the past 24 years, I finally came to the end of the hardships and ushered in the victory of the revolution together with the people of Nepal. I also successfully abducted a handsome division commander of the Maoist People's Liberation Army to be my wife. We exchanged rings at the 2008 Olympic Games at the Bird's Nest in Beijing, and we got married in front of the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall in Tiananmen Square and wedded together forever...
(Namaste: Nepali greeting when meeting and leaving.)
