This article is the sequel to the trilogy "The Truth of Love". It is both the sequel to the prequel "Xu Man's Story" and the companion piece to the original biography "I Am Such a Tender You". In the length of a short story, the prequel uses a bold approach to succinctly and concisely narrate the story of four modern women's fateful encounters in two cities in southern China. It ends with the absolute protagonists Xu Man and Wu Xiaolan suddenly breaking up and returning to their hometown to reunite with Tian Xiaohui. In the length of a novel, this biography depicts the love life of a pair of lesbians in a delicate writing style. Rather than describing it, it is better to explain it, so as to tell the readers of the prequel who lamented about Wu Xiaolan why Xu Man chose Tian Xiaohui. The sequel is a novella, which tells the story of Xiao Chunan and Wu Xiaolan. Different from the conciseness of the prequel and the delicacy of the original biography, the latter is in a genre of its own, with unique narrative methods, exquisite and gorgeous writing, flowing sentences, and graceful and elegant writing.
