There is a bookstore in Tongcheng, hidden in a small alley in the busy city, surrounded by old houses that are about to be demolished.
Most of the people living here are out-and-out old Tongcheng people. They have lived here for generations and live in a corner, as if they are isolated from the bustling city outside the alley.
