According to folklore, Guanyin Bodhisattva has three birthdays: February 19th, June 19th, and September 19th in the lunar calendar. According to legend, these are the days when Guanyin was born, became enlightened, and became a monk respectively.
The first birthday: February 19th is her human birthday, this day she became the third princess; the second birthday: June 19th is the day to jump into the fire pit, her father did not let her learn Buddhism and ordered her to be burned alive.
I was born on the 19th day of the second lunar month, the so-called Guanyin's first birthday. My mother said that people born on Guanyin's birthday have a miserable life.
