A short story written in the second half of 1998 with a trip to the Three Gorges as the background
"I" (Chu Yunfei), who had just experienced an emotional ups and downs, met the girl Liu Ruyan who was traveling with him on the way to the Three Gorges farewell tour. In just a few days of traveling together, the two became acquainted and got to know each other, and gradually developed a good relationship. However, "I" is entangled in the memories of past love affairs. Ruyan also has her own story. On the Three Gorges passenger ship at night, the two of them had a brief and lingering embrace, and then they wandered across the world...
(Preface)
It's been a long time since I've written anything decent, and I can't help but feel a little guilty when I think about it, because even if there are so many unspeakable reasons in life that hinder our language, we should not ignore other more beautiful existences that will eventually be forgotten. I am a person who forgets easily, but fortunately I have not become lackluster or numb because of this. Trivial memories in life - if I am lucky - accidentally poured into my mind, giving me the urge to tell it clearly and give it its true nature. From my own experience growing up, I have always stubbornly believed that no matter what it is, if you lose it, you can no longer talk about having it - after all, nothing can exist forever. I hope that my own words can keep these beautiful feelings for a longer time, and it will be in vain for the original intention of writing.
It is the order.
