Fragment one:
"Hey! Are you the owner of this big white house?"
The boy put his hands in his pockets and looked at the little girl across the door from him with his beautiful eyes. The girl was wearing a yellow polka dot skirt and carrying a small bamboo basket on her back, filled with golden oranges. She was looking at him with curiosity and excitement.
"Now, if you don't say anything, I'll take it as your acquiescence." The little girl took out an orange from her bamboo basket, passed it through the beautifully carved gate in front of her, handed it to the boy and said, "Here you go, as a gift for our first meeting. This orange was just picked by my father. It's very sweet!"
The boy listened to her in silence. His eyes did not look at the orange in the girl's hand but focused on the charming dimples on the girl's mouth.
"Oh, I should go back." The little girl looked at the almost setting sun, quickly put the orange aside, turned around and ran down the path, shouting: "You will be a friend if you accept my gift. Don't say you don't know me next time we meet."
Fragment two:
"It's Yan Chenchen, not Yan Chengcheng."
"Yan Chengcheng."
"Yan Chenchen, chen, not cheng." Yan Chenchen corrected again, twisting his delicate eyebrows.
Su Xing still didn't understand what was different about what she read. "Oh, your name is so hard to pronounce. I'll call you Chengzi from now on." After saying this, she realized that her idea seemed to be quite good. She jumped to the boy's side and said, "Chengzi, Chengzi, see if I pronounced it correctly."
