The timeline at the beginning of the story takes place during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. There are real names of people in history in the novel, and it will also be more or less involved.
Backstory of some historical figures. Based on the historical prototype, I made an arrangement and re-creation in a literary sense.
The story timeline of this work is from about 950 AD to 956 AD. The Later Zhou Dynasty among the Five Dynasties involved the Chu Kingdom, Southern Han Dynasty, Southern Tang Dynasty, Wuyue and other countries among the ten kingdoms.

The main story is about the love and hatred between the old monk Yunji (Feipeng) and the tree demon Grandma Baiyu.
