Preface
Since ancient times, the world has been divided and united, and it has remained unchanged throughout the ages. It is called Jiuzhou. What is Jiuzhou? It is said that there are five continents and four seas.
The five continents are Shengzhou in the east, Niuhezhou in the west, Buzhou in the south, Luzhou in the north, and Lingtongzhou in the middle. They are located in the four directions of east, south, west and north, with one in the middle.
The four seas are the phantom sea in the northeast, the wilderness sea in the southeast, the ice and snow sea in the northwest, and the endless sea in the southwest, all surrounding the four states. Remember that the sea is vast and boundless, so the four seas are all continents, and the Jiuzhou Continent came from this.
According to ancient folk legends, people in mainland China are the descendants of the four great mythical beasts, the Eastern Green Dragon, the Southern Suzaku, the Western Xuanwu, the Northern White Tiger, and the Central Qilin. Therefore, despite constant wars in each dynasty and generation, they all regard the five mythical beasts as the sacred beasts of the country, and they are passed down from generation to generation in every continent.
In the year 996 of the Jiuzhou Calendar, on the land of Shenzhou, it was the time when the world was divided. In the autumn of troubled times, the seven kingdoms stood in power and the people were in dire straits.
There is a poem that says: Although mountains and rivers have no boundaries, they are exquisite and have no land. The kings of the seven kingdoms have issued orders, so many soldiers are haggard, so many women and children in high halls are missing each other, leaving only blood stained in the killing fields and weeping in the graves.
