Don't get me wrong, this is not a modern version of Beauty and the Beast (the heroine is not a beauty... The author's stepmother is so cruel), nor is it a story about a domineering and cold beast being transformed into a loyal dog with twenty-four filial piety by a silly, sweet and sweet Virgin.
Because the author wants to do the opposite.
