"The World in One Year" is a story with a large structure. Halfway through the writing, the publisher asked for the manuscript to be submitted as soon as possible and said that it would be considered to be published in two volumes depending on the situation. Later, the publisher said it would abandon the second half. I once serialized the second half as "One Year of the World·Continuation and Ending", which was eventually published by Changjiang Literature and Art Publishing House.
I changed the publishing house and launched it as a new book, so I made structural adjustments to make the new book an independent work. This process was very hard. The editor and I both pursued perfection and tried to make the stories complete, rather than a continuation without reason.
