The time is set after the Battle of the Four Kingdoms and before the trip to Kyoto. The plot I deduced based on the original work is my own way of making up for the shortcomings of the plot of the Sino-Chinese Cat Group in the original work (●ˇ?ˇ●)

The projection on the ground shook. Xun looked sideways and saw Lu Sheng leaning on the cherry tree. "Xun, is there anything interesting in China?"
Lu Sheng's magnetic voice floated in the air and slowly fell into Xun's heart.
Slippery ghosts, this kind of monster, can slip into other people's hearts without even realizing it. (This is what I saw in the novel "Youkai Master".)
But Xun didn't notice this.
Unknowingly, although this was the first time he met, the high-ranking monster master started talking to him like a friend.
What a wonderful person.
After thinking about it, I lost the fear I had just now and replied, "Yes, I learned a game called chess from my master."
"Chess?" At this moment, Lu Sheng finally moved his gaze away from the moonlight and landed on Xun.
Xun has orange short ear-length hair and a childish look on his face. He is about the same age as a twelve or thirteen-year-old human boy. His slender body is shrunk in a Japanese kimono, revealing his cute limbs.
There were suddenly more cherry blossoms, lingering around Xun.
The handsome young monster has floated in front of Xun, his delicate facial features magnified in front of Xun's eyes, and then his fair skin under the loose kimono...
"Interesting," the young monster master, who caught the panic in Xun's eyes and his erratic mood, smiled playfully, "You know how to play, teach me."
