(Under revision, will be republished on May 1, 2017) [Historical Fanfic] [Historical Novel] Taking the life-long bond between Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, the founder of the Muromachi Shogunate's heyday, and Noh guru Zeami as a clue, it tells Zeami's life story. [Free full text] Inspired by historical figures and the traces they left behind, I try to write about the obscure love of the Muromachi era seven hundred years ago. Rather than a "Danmei", it is more like a biography. However, the telling of the story begins with the relationship between master and servant, cultivator and being cultivated, between the young general and the young ape musician! …One of them became the pinnacle founder of the Muromachi Shogunate, the first person to put the power of the shogun above the imperial power; the other became the originator of Japanese Noh art - today, seven hundred years later, people are still performing his works... Mencius said, when heaven is about to give a great responsibility to a person, he must first harden his mind, strain his muscles and bones, starve his body, and mess up his actions. The aging Zeami has gone through vicissitudes of life, enduring the pain of losing a son in old age and being exiled to an isolated island, and created hundreds of masterpieces. Many of his handed down works have left a valuable legacy for the long-lasting, magnificent and brilliant Japanese art and even the world's art. In particular, his book "Beautiful Flowers" has become a must-read classic work for Japanese Noh performers from the next seven hundred years until today. The beauty of "mysterious" and "flowers" he advocated has become the realm that noh musicians of all generations have pursued throughout their lives. (Fengzihuaden is the inspiration for the title of this article) Zeami, who is no longer young and has gone through many vicissitudes of life, is no longer the beautiful young monkey musician, and is no longer the "Fujiwakamaru" who is admired by the stars, but his superb artistic attainments have reached the true "mysterious realm". As the "Second Generation of Kanze Doctor", Zeami led Kanze-ryu to new heights. He also created a series of new performance techniques such as "Women's Noh", further perfecting the Noh art modeled on traditional Sarugaku acrobatics, making it truly an elegant art that can be appreciated by both refined and popular people. It is exactly what is said: Youth will be ruined, beauty will fall, but only noble character and beautiful talents will last forever.
