It is probably necessary to express my gratitude first, so please allow me to first say thank you to my youth and to you who have accompanied me through my youth.
Before typing this article, I had already written the first draft of the long story. At least I had already figured out the direction of the story and the general ending. There are two friends around me who grew up watching this novel. I also asked them for their opinions at the beginning of the first draft. Regarding the character setting in my novel, their suggestions really played a big role, and I naturally followed their wishes and thought of writing a youth growth history with laughter and tears but a happy ending.
Until I watched a drama.
You know, tragic drama can move people more.
That is not what readers expect, and it is not what the audience wants to see, but that is my youth.
I used to hate all the screenwriters and authors who wrote the male and female protagonists to the point where they were tragic and couldn't be more tragic. It wasn't until I started writing that I began to understand that some themes and some stories just weren't suitable for comedy endings.
So at this moment, I want to overturn everything I have written before and reorganize the story I want to write.
Maybe as I said, I wrote it as a tragedy, which reminded everyone of their youth, resonated with them, and made them cry. So I am very sorry;
But maybe, I still wrote it as a comedy with a happy ending, so this may prove that I am not suitable to write about youth and youth.
