One institution uses embryo segmentation technology to remove the segmented embryos at the fertilized egg stage (for example, for clients seeking in vitro fertilization), and promises the client to provide a backup of organs so that autologous organ transplants can be performed in case the child develops disease when he or she grows up in the future.
