The term Parallel universes was proposed by the American philosopher and psychologist William James in 1895. It refers to a hypothesis that has not yet been proven in physics. According to this hypothesis, there may be other universes outside our universe, and these universes are a reflection of the possible states of the universe. These universes may be based on the same physical constants as the universe we know, or they may be different.
