I ushered in my second winter in Hangzhou.
I finally saw the second fallen leaves in Hangzhou. When the leaves on the campus fell, I stretched out my hand to catch the fallen leaves in my hands, not wanting them to fall, but time is ruthless. It tells me that I am another year older, I have wasted another year of youth, and my second year of college is about to pass. Although I didn't mean it, it was something I couldn't stop. I could only watch the yellowing leaves falling from the trees. In an instant, I understood how insignificant and helpless people are towards nature.
Walking alone on campus, looking at the leaves on the ground, I also understand that people are actually just like these fallen leaves, occasionally hanging on trees and living a comfortable life, and occasionally wandering around, looking for their own roots. Just like me, I don't know where my future lies, where the people and things I want to find are. And all I can do is wait for my own unknown future alone in this lonely city.
I am still working hard for my glimmer of hope, hoping that I can waste less time and youth. And time will still mercilessly erode my youth bit by bit.
I recently received a text message from a friend of mine, and I felt very bad. I had always forgotten to contact my friend, and the excuse was that I was too busy. I am still very forgetful this winter and often forget things. I recently forgot a book belonging to a very good friend of mine in the classroom, and I blame myself a lot. Maybe I really need someone around me to remind me.
