The loneliness of the night spreads infinitely. Thoughts raced through my head, tightening every nerve in my body. All the things from the past rushed back to me, making me feel like I wanted to vomit.
Whether previous choices were right or wrong has long since become unclear. I also began to understand that no one can resist the greatness of time. Or maybe everything that happened was fate, and we were just exquisite puppets created by God, rehearsing a story that pleased Him according to a predetermined script.
This sudden realization made me feel extremely cold. Those fleeting feelings are all made up of more displacement and depression. The so-called freedom I pursue is nothing but the prosperity of this world.
So should I regret my decision a year ago? But even so, don't we still have to go down this road? Until, until the end of this story.
