A Flash Marriage in the 1980S

Lin Wei is twenty-seven this year. She is the deputy captain of the Criminal Investigation Team at the East District Branch, and a notorious workaholic. She has a hard temper and a stubborn streak. He looks like an easy target. In the summer of 1988, two people with completely opposite personalities married in a hurry. Their feelings gradually deepen after the wedding, but Lin Wei doesn’t know that what she thinks is a marriage that turned into love was actually all part of Chen Jinghe’s long-laid plans. Chen Jinghe was frail as a child. He nearly died several times, but always survived. His mother had his fortune told, then adopted a large willow tree as his godfather. The leads look completely serious on the outside, but are both pretty absurd underneath. 3. A slow burn, with plenty of domestic life and a touch of an ensemble cast. 4.
