He was the real one among the fakes, and he deceived Lerol. It is basically certain that he has been scheming since he appeared on the scene. If Slytherin and Helena hadn't tried their best to stop Phillips from invading Hogwarts, Lyrol would probably have had his self-consciousness swallowed by this old Yin B to recover himself (but that's not necessarily the case, after all, Lyrol felt that Phillips didn't really want to kill him now, so he could just control it?)
