Author's note: For a long time, I have wanted to write a story that faithfully reflects the Chinese students who came to Australia at that time. Due to my limited ability, I have never written it, so I have been pushing it forward year by year. It was the encouragement of my friends that gave me the courage to write this novel again. The characters and stories in this article are basically real people, with slight modifications.
