Compositions I wrote before I was seven years old, such as:
The weight of life
I bought a puppy, which, unlike my rag doll, is alive.
The puppy can run, jump and move. It barks when it's in pain, it barks when it's hungry, and it barks when it wants to take a walk. It's alive, it has a mind of its own, and sometimes it's not as obedient as a rag doll.
Flowers, grass, and trees are alive, puppies, kittens, and small animals are alive, and we are also alive. In the spring, the grass will grow and the flowers will bloom; in the autumn, everything will wither and the leaves will fall. Some lives are very short, the shortest only one or two days, and people can only live a hundred years at most. Life is fragile, and death may occur from hunger, accidents, or aging. My mother told me that a person can only live six or seven days without eating.
Life has weight and is heavy. We should love life and cherish life. Whether it's your own or your puppy's.
