The female protagonist is mentally ill, the male protagonist is an avenger, and there are a bunch of NPCs who promote the plot. The general direction is a story wrapped in suspense (probably). The plot may be bloody, but what is even more bloody is fate (believe it or not).
I still feel it is necessary to mention that this was an idea I had while watching "The Dark One"...
