Yu built nine tripods and distributed them to the nine states. One of the tripods was blessed by the Emperor of Heaven and became an immortal tripod. Later, this tripod fell into the hands of King Zhou. The Emperor of Heaven withdrew his protection from the cauldron because of its desolation and immorality, and attracted evil spirits from the ten directions, which are composed of resentment, hatred, fierceness, greed, anger, delusion, desire and other souls in the human world. Later, when the Shang Dynasty fell, the tripod fell into the hands of demons again. From then on, all life in the world was in ruins. The Emperor of Heaven realized his mistake and ordered his Sanxian Youmuzi to capture the demon for him. Youmuzi fought with the demon for three days and three nights and finally defeated the demon, but the evil spirit in the cauldron could not be eliminated, so Youmuzi sealed himself into the cauldron to ward off the evil evil. Youmuzi was originally a dragon. When the Emperor of Heaven found out, he promoted the descendants of Youmuzi to real dragons and named them Red Sandalwood Jade Dragons. Only the blood of the descendants plus three fairy stones can awaken Youmuzi. This tripod was called the "Shifang Sacrifice" by the world.
Five hundred years ago, Taishang Laojun subdued the former Holy Lord of the Demon Realm and distributed the sacrifices from the ten directions to the three spirits under him to guard them. The three spirits were An Yuyang, Li, Mo Xiang, and Shang Jie. Taishang Laojun granted each of the three people a spiritual stone, and received their spells to cultivate the way of immortality in order to protect the "Shifang Sacrifice" for a long time.
